10/21/2022 0 Comments Playground Update and recent donationsPlayground updateThe past several weeks has seen great progress made on the playground as we are working with local business partners to prepare the ground. The parking lot has been extended and the ground work has been completed for the walk path. The materials have been ordered and we have worked with MasterHalco out of Olney for discounted fencing as well as CCI RediMix out of Effingham to provide concrete at their cost (courtesy of the Newton plant). We continue to move forward with this project as we are excited to bring this new area to the Newton Limitless Program. Recent DonationsThank you to the awareness brought by Limitless Fund board President, Amanda Bowen, her employer, Schneider Trucking graciously made a $2,500 donation to our general fund in September. This was a truly unexpected donation that caught us all off guard. We are very thankful for their generosity and willingness to help the Limitless Program
Today we were presented with a $2,013 check from the St. Thomas church in Newton that was raised through their picnic and raffle. This donation was also one that we were not expecting as we were selected by the church as one of their recipients of their donation. We appreciate the support shown to our program from the church.
