The Board of Directors called a special meeting March 29th with Meraki Health CEO/owner, Sarah Weiler to discuss the layout and construction of the playground to be installed at Newton Limitless. The Limitless Fund Board and Meraki Health have agreed to partner with the funding of the playground to ensure the target completion date of this Summer can be achieved pending availability of equipment from the manufacture. The Limitless Fund will be using the remainder of the funds that have been donated towards this project and then reallocated additional funds from the general fund to bring the playground fund up to $25,000. Meraki Health will contribute the remaining funds required to build out the playground area and equipment required. This allocation will bring the total contributed to the Newton Limitless playground project through your donations to $32,408.00. Logical Construction owned and operated by Aaron Mason has agreed to volunteer his labor towards the construction of the fence, concrete, playground, and equipment helping save with labor cost. We will be seeking additional volunteers to assist with the projects construction in the future. If you are able and willing to help in any way please contact us at limitlessfund@merakishine.com or by calling 618-769-3600. Below are some of the items discussed for the playground equipment and does not represent the exact equipment that will be purchased. All equipment and the placement of the equipment will be decided in consultation with the Meraki Health clinical team to ensure its optimal use towards treatment goals and physical activities.
